Purpose-built outdoor arena
Our show jumping events are centred around the Richard Thorpe Arena –named after Paula Allen’s father who was an influential figure in the equestrian community. Opened in 2021, it is a beautiful purpose-built outdoor arena for competition and training clinics boasting an Andrew Bowen surface.
We have 2 indoor arenas for warm up and holding additional events including charity shows, riding school shows, tours and social events.
Quality, detail and atmosphere
The inspiration for the arena was born from the years the Allen family spent travelling around the European showjumping circuit , experiencing the quality, attention to detail, and atmosphere at some of the biggest show centres in the world. This is something we strive to recreate with all our events!
Our Show team lead by BS course designer Peter Allen ensures that every event, whether it is a low-key riding school show or a HOYS Qualifier, the arena offers the 5 star course and setting that our clients deserve, with a beautifully decorated arena and over 40 bespoke show jumps.
